Keeping the ho-ho-ho-holidays hot without veering into scandalously salacious territory is a precarious balancing act, one which we occasionally overstep or misjudge here. (Type in ‘Gratuitous nudity’ into the search engine and stand back, Buenos Aires.) The key to a holiday hunk is the blend between the sacred and profane, a knowing glance and hint of skin, a playful gaze and mischievous pose, and maybe just the slightest peek at something naughty. We straddle the line. We skirt the edge. And we hope that Santa puts us on the good list. Here’s a look at some hunks to make your holiday jingle.

It begins with the featured photo of Frankie Catania, yet another gift from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and one that keeps giving. Thank you, Andy Cohen!

Next up is a Santa-hatted Sean William Donovan, whose holiday sweater brings all sorts of heat and stirrings.

Having just made a super-splash in his briefs and jockstraps and boxer briefs – all products of his new underwear line Grand Axis – Steve Grand is back in the hunk game, and quite clearly winning. 

A relatively-recent Hunk of the Day is Dwyane Wade, who’s as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. 

Shades of grey abound in this photo of Liam Payne, whose underwear antics earned him accolades, but whose bisexual fetishization raised eyebrows and ire. That issue goes too deep for these pages; sort it out amongst yourselves.

Closing out this holiday hunk post is Justin Hartley, in his Santa-inspired turn in the holiday comedy ‘Bad Moms’. Check out the unit on that guy. 

When you cross shirtless male celebrities with Christmas, you get a lot of hunky Santa figures taking their shirts off. That’s right up the alley of the blog, where former holiday hunks included the likes of Darren Criss, Austin Drage,  Dan Osborne, Stuart Pilkington and Justin Hartley. Today we give you a whole new set of Santa babies to ogle, beginning with the fascinating Nico Tortorella, who has made finer-than-fine appearances here, here and here. 

From ChristmasTown to PhilCity, the fit form of Phil Fusco looks even more striking in red briefs against a snowy blue sky, but also intrigues when practically naked as seen here, here and here. 

Pietro Boselli has already stripped down to Santa’s skivvies here, but is worth a look in even less here and here. 

Ryan Phillippe does winter hunk double-duty in this pair of pics spanning several years. After and before, he’s been naked here already. 

Triple-hunky threat Nick Adams knows how to put on a proper holiday show, guns and bulges blazing. Check him out even more of him here, here, or here.

This bonus post, culled from the annals of an unexpected but most definitely not unwanted snow day, is a quick recap of some shirtless male celebrities who have graced this website with their hotness over the years. It’s not quite a full-on Naked Male Celebrities post, but click on that link and search the archives if you want fully nude stars. This is PG-13, but no less scintillating for it. We begin with KJ Apa, who knows how to man-spread, which is a skill that should have no shame when not practiced on public transportation. (Pull this shit on the subway and your crotch is nothing but target practice.)

Matthew Camp has been a favorite in these parts for years, and it’s always good to be reminded of the many endeavors he’s successfully embarked upon. See here and here too. 

Robbie Amell in motion is almost as good as Robbie Amell naked, but until we get a glimpse of that please make do with his Hunk of the Day post. 

Jwan Yosef, husband of Ricky Martin and fantastic artist in his own right, was breathtaking in his Hunk of the Day crowning here. 

Closing out the black and white portion of this hunky pictorial is Ben Cohen, who wears short-shorts better than anyone else. 

Like Dorothy stepping out of that sepia farm house and into the land of Oz, we switch into the full-color section of this shirtless male celebrity extravaganza. (Maybe there are some hints of male nudity on the way too.) Up in super-saturated form is the magnificent Jack Mackenroth, who clearly knows his way around a colorful ride. 

King of the underwear scene, nobody fills a pair quite as keenly as Daniel Miller, as amply evidenced in his Hunk of the Day honor.

Here’s THAT photo of Jason Derulo’s bulge, which is what Instagram is all about. (Follow my ass here.) Mr. Derulo has already been crowned Hunk of the Day here, and his naked video resulted in some GIFs that earned him a second HOD crowning here. Continued from the first shirtless male celebrity post today, this is a follow-up with more shirtless guys, anchored by someone who is not completely shirtless here, but offers more than a peek of what he has to offer. It’s Tom Ford, so he’s allowed to break the shirtless rule, as the glimpse of chest hair makes up for it. A naked Tom Ford is often considered the best Tom Ford of all, but I actually prefer his scents to his skin.

Donnie Rust may very well be the sexiest busker in the world, though we are always on the lookout for other contenders. 

A pair of blokes from ‘Love Island’ makes a happy pool visage. Here are Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson from that island of Love.

October will always be remembered as the month of ‘Sex’ and in honor of such an erotic affiliation here is a collection of handsome gents in various states of undress, because nothing says October like gratuitous male shirtlessness. This grouping of guy candy/eye candy is anchored by a blast from our Glee-ful past: Chord Overstreet. Since his days on ‘Glee’ he’s maintained his form and figure, which is more than I can say for myself. That alone is an admirable feat.

Next up is one of our only three-time Hunk of the Day winners: Nick Adams. See his triple crowning here. After that is dancer/entertainer/actor extraordinaire Derek Hough in all his shirtless glory. 

Diplo got into his underwear, and then incongruously into a shower stall, but who are we to judge? He joins the Calvin Klein brigade of underwear-clad hotties.

When a little (big) bulge ignites the internet, it’s time for a proper look at our past Hunks, and a tease of future ones to come. As we head into my birthday weekend, I’m pre-programming a few fun link-filled posts for your viewing pleasure. Sometimes we miss the hottest posts in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here’s a chance to go back and correct it. 

We begin with Chace Crawford and the bulge that rocked the internet. Real or photoshopped is beside the, err, point. Check out his Hunk of the Day crowning here and let me know if we should feature him again.

Ginger firecracker Race Imboden recently kneeled for a medal-winning rendition of the National Anthem, because our youth are the ones who have the strength and courage to stand up for the oppressed these days. That’s enough to remind me of why he was Hunk of the Day in the first place: it takes hunkiness and heart.  

‘Million Dollar Listing’ poster boy Ryan Serhant will do anything for a sale, including getting into a skimpy Speedo for a hot-tub demonstration, and that’s why he was a shoo-in for Hunk of the Day. He also featured in some nude shower GIFs for a naked male celebrity post like this one. 

Not to be outdone in the male gratuitous nudity category, here is Nico Tortorella baring his backside for a cheeky summer sun-tanning shot. Nico took it all off here and here too. (He was so good at it he earned a second Hunk of the Day honor here.)

The hairy-chested male gets plenty of attention in these parts, though maybe not so much lately, so let’s rectify that with this reminder of Bryan Greenberg and his turn as Hunk of the Day. Bryan also lent his body to hunk recollections like this one, and some sexy wet shirtless GIFs to this one. 

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in way too many posts to recall them all here, and you probably have link fatigue already, so here’s one of the most recent. oh, all right, here’s another. And one more for the road. Next to him is a newcomer, male model William McLarnon, who gives us some nude male celebrity street cred.
