When your therapist lays out how all the conditions of the past few months have set you up perfectly for a mid-life crisis, it gives one pause, especially as it’s been a challenge simply getting out of bed in recent days, coupled with self-induced difficulty in getting to sleep at night. And so, we pause, as July dawns and this recap goes through the past week, as our weekly recap does. Perhaps the way out is focusing on our coquette theme, and losing oneself in the pink, ribbon-laced aesthetic, especially when the rest of the world has gone so atrociously dark.
