Olympic Spotlight: Tom Daley & Matty Lee

Olympic spoiler alert: read no further if you haven’t yet seen the men’s diving results. For those of us who foolishly opened our phones and saw the real-time results, continue on. Tom Daley and Matty Lee – Britain’s wondrous diving duo – just competed, completed and conquered their quest for a gold medal in these Olympic Games, and have more than earned this gold-themed Olympic spotlight. Tom Daley has been featured here so often that he has his own category (click here for the last few entries) and his diving partner Matty Lee has also appeared as a former Hunk of the Day.

Olympic Spotlight: Yul Moldauer

Joining fellow team-mate Brody Malone in the Olympic Spotlight, Yul Moldaeur executed an amazing floor routine to qualify for medal competition in the Tokyo Olympics. This marks his first trip to the olympic games, and is just the beginning based on all the promise on display. It also makes for a giant leap toward getting crowned as Dazzler of the Day. Once again taking the world’s stage by shirtless storm, Pita Taufatofua kicks off this site’s Olympic coverage (such as it may be) in greased and grand fashion. This mark’s Pita’s third trip to the Olympics from Tonga, and that in itself is an impressive-enough feat. The Jonas Bros Do the Olympics

Olympic fever kicks into fevered frenzy tonight as the Jonas Brothers appear on some Olympic-themed competition in which they purported try their hands (and feet and every glorious body part) at some Olympic sports. I have no idea what that entails, but it’s airing on NBC tonight, so if you’re a fan of Nick, Joe and/or Kevin, give it a watch. Also, this seems a good time to revisit some of Nick’s infamously gratuitous posts, or Joe’s underwear poses, or Kevin’s tighty-whities. I’m not going to pretend I don’t like some of their new music either. Don’t hate.
